17) The athletic association has about 50 tickets left for the Aug 1st CYC night at Busch
Stadium. Below is the information that you need to know for getting tickets.
1) you must show up to our athletic association meeting at CLN on July 18th at 7:00 PM.
2) By 7:15 the names of those that are interested will be collected and put into a bucket for
the random draw. Please note that you will only be able to represent your family. A coach
will not be allowed to put names in the bucket of each one of their players. To be eligible
for the tickets, a parent has to show up at the meeting.
3) At the end of the meeting names will be drawn to determine who is able to purchase
tickets. You will only be allowed to purchase tickets for 1 adult and then number of children
you have involved in CYC baseball or softball. (player or umpire)
4) YOU MUST PAY FOR THE TICKETS THAT NIGHT, NO EXCEPTIONS, so plan ahead.
We understand that there will be people that will not be able to get tickets and we extend
our apologies for that. Just understand that there were people in our organization fighting
hard to get as many tickets as we could from the CYC main office.
There are no games scheduled for that day so no parent or coach has to worry about not
being able to make it due to their child having a game to play. If for some reason you can't
make it you must discuss it with the executive board of the Athletic Association.
16) (added 04/20/06) Christ Light of the Nations will be having their annual golf
tournament. We are in need of donations for prizes. If you have any donations or for
info on the tournament contact Jerry at 355-3220.

19) The Maggie Welby Foundation will be hosting a Thanksgiving Soccer Classic for
grades K to 3. The tournament will be held at Bishop DuBourg High School on Friday
and Saturday November 24th and 25th. Deadline for registration is October 27th, 2006.

20) (added 11/05/06) A very special Congratulations has to be given to Mimi Hatches and
Jack Randolf, for their awards from the NCCYC. Mimi was given the award for being the
softball official of the year and Jack Randolf was given the Sports Person of the year for
his dedication and service to the CLN athletics.
21) (added 05/19/07) Soccer and volleyball registration have begun. The deadline for
registration is June 21st, 2007. Registration fee is $40 for one child, $60 for two and $70
for three or more. An additional $25 concession stand fee is required for soccer and will
be refunded after your concession stand duty is fulfilled. To register contact the following.

22) (added 06/25/07) Trinity will be hosting a soccer shout out tournament Sept 15th
through the 22nd. This event is for boys and girls in the 8th grade, cost is $75 per team
and each team is expected to have 3 games. For ore information contact Don Merz at
393-5207.
23) (added 10/14/07) Dellwood Indoor Park will be hosting the annual CYC indoor
tournament. The tournament runs from Nov 1st to Nov 16th. Cost of entry is $125 per
team, to register contact Ken Daniels with Dellwood at 869-8686.
24) (added 02/17/08) Baseball / Softball sign-ups have begun. Deadline for sign-up is
March 8th 2008. Cost of registration is $50 for 1 child, $75 for 2 children and $90 for 3 or

25) (added 03/22/08) Congratulations to the 7th grade boys basketball team for winning
their division as they are headed to the City / County playoffs.
26) (added 03/22/08) If you are interested in becoming a baseball or softball official you
must attend the classes that are going to be held on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April
6th at the Sacred Heart Gym. To register call one of the following.

27) (added 10/06/08) Basketball sign ups have begun, you can obtain a sign up form at
the school office and return it to the school office in an envelope marked basketball. The
other option is to show up at one of the two registration dates, Mon 10/20 and Mon 10/27,
both will be from 6-8 PM.
28) (added 05/12/09) CLN will be hosting a coed Mush ball (16 inch) softball tournament.
The tournament will run June 12th and 13th. The cost is $125 per team with a guarantee

29) (added 01/26/10) The CLN school will be holding a Casino night on Saturday March
20th, 2010 at teh HNOJ community center. Cost is $10 per person or $80 for a table of 8.

30) (added 01/26/10) The Maggie Welby Foundation will be holding their 5th annual trivia
night on Saturday Feb 13th, 2010. The trivia will be held at Bishop DuBourg high school.

31) (added 03/07/10) The Jennings Do-Dads are hosting a meet shoot on Sunday March
28th starting at 1pm. The shoot will be held at Sievers park at the corner of Jennings
Station Road and Hord Rd.
